Clove Oil

Strongest natural tooth painkiller (eugenol). Soak a cotton ball and apply to the painful area.

Temporary Fillings

Zinc oxide kits (available in pharmacies) allow you to seal a cavity for a few weeks.

Abscess

Life-threatening condition (sepsis). Requires antibiotic therapy and possible incision (by a professional if possible).

Prevention

Brush twice daily, floss, avoid sugar. In crisis: rinse with salt water (1 tsp per glass of warm water), chew xylitol.
